Plans first

New construction plumbing is decided long before anyone cuts pipe. Fixture counts drive line sizing, line sizing drives fixture-unit loading, and both drive where the stacks and vents can physically go once the framing is set. Reading that off the drawings and coordinating it with the other trades is what keeps a rough-in from becoming a re-do.

We work from your blueprints, flag conflicts before they are poured or framed, and give the general contractor a schedule that fits the build rather than fighting it.

Underground and ground rough-in

The below-slab phase is the one you cannot revisit cheaply. Waste and vent runs are set out, graded, supported and pressure-tested before the pour, and stub-ups are located to the drawing rather than approximately. Our recent work includes trenching through existing commercial slabs, exposing and tying into under-slab cleanouts, and setting stub-up groups across a finished pad.

Above-ground rough-in and top-out

Once the frame is up, the water lines, drain and vent stacks go in through stud walls and overhead framing — strapped, isolated where they cross metal, and set so the drywall and the fixture heights actually work out. On the commercial side that means running through steel studs and roof framing without compromising the structure or the fire-rating, and coordinating with mechanical and electrical in the same ceiling space.

Trim and final set

Trim is where the build gets judged. Fixtures set level and plumb, escutcheons tight, stops accessible, flush valves adjusted, and everything commissioned and tested under real conditions before handover. On a commercial fit-out that includes the full restroom group: pans, urinals, flushometers, lavatories and ADA clearances checked against the drawing.

Permits and inspections

Progressive Plumbing Solution Inc. holds Florida certified plumbing contractor license #CFC1434532, and the work is done to code because code is what the inspection checks and what the certificate of occupancy depends on. We handle the permitting and inspection sequence as part of the job rather than leaving it with the builder.
