First: stop the water

If water is actively moving somewhere it should not be, the single most valuable thing you can do before we arrive is close the supply. On most Miami single-family homes that is the main shut-off at the street side of the property or at the meter box; on a condo or a commercial unit it is usually a valve inside the utility closet or above the ceiling access panel. For a water heater failure, the cold inlet valve on top of the tank isolates the tank on its own.

Call us while you are doing it. We will talk you through it on the phone if you are not sure which valve is which — that is a two-minute conversation that routinely saves a floor.

What counts as an emergency

Anything where waiting makes the damage worse. In practice that means:

• A burst or split supply line, anywhere in the building
• Water coming through a ceiling, a wall, or up through a slab
• A sewer backup into a tub, a floor drain or a fixture
• A main-line stoppage that has taken every fixture out at once
• A water heater leaking from the shell rather than a fitting
• No water at all, on a property that had water an hour ago
• A commercial kitchen or restroom group that has to open in the morning

A single dripping faucet is not an emergency, and we will book it as normal work rather than charge you for an emergency call you do not need.

Rapid-response intervention

Emergency work is triage before it is repair. The first pass is to stop the loss and make the property safe: isolate, drain down, and get eyes on what actually failed. Only then does the question of the permanent fix come up — and by then we know whether it is a section of pipe, a fitting, a valve, or a run that has been quietly corroding behind a wall for a decade.

Our mobile units carry the diagnostic gear and the common parts, which is what turns a lot of two-visit jobs into one. If a permanent repair genuinely needs a part we do not have on the truck, we will make the property safe and usable first, tell you exactly what is outstanding, and come back with it.

Straightforward pricing, even at 2am

An emergency is exactly the wrong moment to be handed an open-ended meter. You get the findings and the number before anyone picks up a tool, and work starts when you approve it. That does not change because it is a Sunday night.
